Terms and Conditions

By making a reservation for accommodation at Henry's Cottage, guests warrant they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to changes as notified to them.

Minimum 2 Night Reservation for one or two adults

Accommodation is charged at $175 per night.

This cottage is not suitable for children.

Check In and Check Out Times

Check in Time is from 3:00pm (15:00 hours)

Check out Time is before 10:00am (10:00 hours)

Earlier check ins and later check outs are sometimes possible. Please contact us to enquire.

Deposits and Full Payment

Full payment is due at the time of making your reservation. We accept bank transfer only.

Postponement, Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that unexpected things happen and sometimes bookings need to be postponed.

Your payment is fully refundable if cancellation occurs more than 2 weeks prior to arrival date.

If cancellation occurs less than 2 weeks before your arrival date, your reservation will be suspended pending new booking dates and your payment will be credited to the new reservation. If you are unable to reschedule, Henry’s Cottage will refund 50% of your payment.

If you are a ‘no-show’, your booking and any payments are forfeited.

Natural Disaster Policy

If you cancel your booking made directly with us prior to arrival because of a natural disaster (fire, flood) or public health directive, your payment is fully refundable.

If you leave Henry’s Cottage after arriving because of a natural disaster (fire, flood) or public health directive, the unused portion of your accommodation will be refunded if booked directly with us.

Bookings made via 3rd party websites (AirBnB, Stayz) are subject to the cancellation policy of the website with whom you booked.

Extra Charges

Cleaning

We will always look to be reasonable but we reserve the right to apply additional charges for extra cleaning at $50 per hour if furniture has been moved and not replaced, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned, dry and replaced, soft furnishings have been damaged or stained and need replacement or steam cleaning or the accommodation is generally not in the state you found it in.

Smoking (and other odours)

Henry’s Cottage is smoke free indoors. However, guests can smoke on the covered veranda outside where an ashtray is provided. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be applied if the cottage smells of cigarette smoke or strong foods such as curry or seafood.

House Rules:

Please respect our neighbours by limiting noise after 11pm.

Events and parties are not permitted.

Please only smoke outdoors.

Please place all garbage in the council bins provided when you depart.

Please thoroughly wash, dry and return dishes to the dresser.

Please leave the cottage tidy (the way you found it). There is no need to do any cleaning or bed making.

Fur kids are welcome but not permitted on the furniture or to be left unattended. Please ensure that there is no evidence of your little mate having been in residence, inside or out, after you leave.
